This world-class adventure takes you deep into the canyon where nearly two miles of clear, cool, spring-fed stream lie in wait of your fly or lure. Habitat has been created and enhanced to provide an environment ideal for a thriving rainbow trout population with brown trout adding diversity to the program. Our effort has been so successful that trout are reproducing naturally in a State where they are not native. To protect this perfect environment we do not allow wading, thereby ensuring minimum disturbance of the stream bed and aquatic insects that live there.
To assure a quality experience, we require that participants be at least 13 years of age and we admit a very limited number of anglers Monday through Friday. Rods are provided or you may bring your own and we would make the following recommendations:

While the guides will carry a selection of flies particular to the stream, we would ask you to either provide your own or purchase a recommended selection from our fly shop.

"I have been going fishing at Dogwood Canyon about 2-3 times a year for the last 5 years. I usually take my son who is a sophomore in College. He will cancel anything to go, even a date with his girlfriend. Have learned something new every time I've gone. The guides are all knowledgeable and cater to you based on your experience. Great scenery in the canyon. Have seen Bald Eagles on 3 occasions. I can heartily recommend the experience. Have always caught fish". Michael Ausmus, Kansas City MO
